I was invited by an office colleague to attend a presentation by two local Reuter's photographers. I brought along my brother Hussien, who somehow got the attention of Bazuki, a key presenter, and they discussed about "the art of seeing". Later during the talk session, Bazuki actually spoke to the audience about what he and Hussien discussed, and even introduced Hussien!
I was going back from work and just happened to look at my car's rear tyre, and spotted what I thought was a stone in its tread. Instead I discovered a metal screw lodged in the middle of the tyre! But the tyre was otherwise perfectly fine, not flat or anything. Next day, I took it to the tyre shop to have it patched. Now it's as good as before :)
My uncle, Tan Sri Hamzah Abu Samah, was invited to be a torch runner for KL leg. He was the Olympic Council of Malaysia (OCM) President, now held by Tunku Imran. My cousin, Shahril, asked me to take photos of this event, which mind you, last took place in KL in 1964!
Our Cosys unit had our family day outing at Nur Lembah Pangsun. This eco-resort is about an hour away from KL somewhere near Ulu Langat. You get to play all sort of team games, including pond rafting and the flying fox.
This is a typical morning view outside my office window. The misty city landscape bathed in the glow of sunlight. The distant clouds just caressing the high hills beyond. What a beautiful view.
I was free on Saturday, so I invited my brother to visit a few of our relatives in Klang. We've not seen them in years, so it was important to retake their pictures and also their biodata. This was to update our family tree records.
My brother reminded me of my niece's birthday and we went to Kentucky Fried Chicken as she was dying to eat chicken. Apparently she was on a strict diet, and chicken was off-limits.
During the weekend, my mum may decide to go to the nearby market to restock on food supplies, such as fish, vegetables, fruits and the like. As usual, I'd drive her there and help carry the goods.
It was the department finals in netball, and I managed to take a group shot of the girls before the play started. It didn't last long because it rained ten minutes later....
