Silver Wedding

Two of my officemates decided to tie the knot and a few of us attended their reception in the state of Perak (silver in Malay). It was a simple affair but they were dressed in gold. Those who followed me in my car got a taste of what my VW GTi was capable of, and were pleased to be passengers on the trip.

Delight in a few pictures of the glittery wedding.....

Animal Shooting

I'm now an animal hunter.... shooting with my new evil bazooka-like Sigma Monster..... this time, I'm ready for the kill.... even if the beast is perched faraway on a treetop..... or sneaking steathly in the river..... that creature won't escape me now.....

See some of the animals shot by me......

Farewell Party

It's funny, but when someone close to us leaves, we celebrate the farewell like a party (if that person is not someone we like, we won't even have a farewell...) So, one of our officemates got transferred outstation, and we had a happy lunch.

Please browse her farewell album.....

Picnic in a Jungle

My brother and I decided to venture to another nature spot, this time at Ulu Yam. I think the streams and forests here are more scenic than Janda Baik, and its actually closer to KL. You'll also get to see a dam that is quite beautiful, and pass thru some small rustic looking towns.

Stroll thru Nature

My brother and I took a drive to the village town of Janda Baik and snapped away several pictures of the tropical landscape found there. You can find lots of rainforested hills, watery streams, pretty kampung homes, and a few animals fielding for food....

You can see more of Janda Baik here.....

Yet Another Open House

This time is was with my sister-in-law's relatives, who are Johorians. They had a family gathering cum birthday party. The light was kinda dim and thanks to my Nikon D700 and Sigma 30mm f1.4, I managed to photograph the whole event without using flash.

Fun and laughter at the Johorian open house.....

A Visit to Bentong Famly

My mum's kampung is Bentong, and she decided to make a visit to meet the relatives there. Tok Busu has a new home, which he acquired recently after selling his land. The new home is actually quite near to his old house. Needless to say, I took the opportunity to grab as many pictures of the nice bungalow.

Take a look at Bentong's new home.....
