Flamingoes

After the hot air balloon event, I drove to the nearby Wetland that was so peaceful and quiet. My presence must have woken up the flamingoes, either that or they're very receptive to shutterbugs.

Blowing off Hot Air

I went to the Putrajaya Hot Air Balloon Fiesta and took pictures using my super telezoom. The balloons came in all sorts of shapes and colours, and the mood in the crowd was easy going.

InfoPAL

One of my main responsibilities at work is to improve communications among our staff. To that, we created the InfoPAL program - selected employees who bridge the gap between management and the rest of the staff. The InfoPALs had a review session where each were presented with a button badge.

Score 5As and get a Notebook

Times have changed. It used to be that each "A" you get in the final Form 5 exam was worth RM100. Now you can get a notebook and a smartphone, both totaling almost RM3,000! This is what my niece got for scoring in her exams. Congrats to her. Guess her younger brothers need to beat her score to get any goodies...

Wedding Bells

This being the start of the school holiday, it's an appropriate time for weddings to take place. One of my cousin decided to tie the knot and quite a number of our relatives turned up for the ceremony.

Quality Recognition

Once in a while, those employees who performed very well and delivered outstanding service, were given awards during a simple gathering. I was called to take photographs (that's what I'm good at...) and managed to shoot a few pics....

Paintball Mania

A rather large group (80+) of my nephew's friends gathered at Bukit Cerakah, Shah Alam to wage a battle in its thick forests. My brother and I decided to just be photographers and yet almost got shot in the crossfire! It was a hot day so I sweated it out, but it was a fun outing.
